This early chest is made of the finest burl elm, with a quartered top and having a stepped edge moulding, below are two short & three long drawers, The drawers are edge banded & have panels of swirled burl elm, the drawers with brass lock escutcheons & bail handles, the chest is raised on tall shaped bracket feet.
